Facilitator Biography

Pamela Brodhurst is a Mindfulness and Meditation Specialist after attaining certification in several Mindfulness and Meditation programs including the University of Toronto. Beginning her personal practice in the 1970’s in traditional methods, while studying Budo, Yoga and Qigong with a focus on philosophy. Suffering from Chronic PTSD after a traumatic event she participated in Mindfulness Programs and Therapies as part of her cognitive therapy and road to recovery, which has taught her to settle, cope and heal her mind and body. She now enjoys facilitating these protocols while continuing to advance her Mindfulness studies and Specializations. As founder of Mindfulness Oasis from which she provides secular private practice, educational and experiential workshops and seminars. She is a accomplished keynote speaker. Pamela developed the a.M.I.L.E. (achieving Mindfulness in Life Everyday) program which focuses on the education of stress reduction, inner peace, resilience, mindfulness meditation and enhanced well-being. She developed the Mindful Living and Meditation Program which she currently teaches at Fleming College.  You can also join her throughout the Peterborough community in meditation classes she facilitates.  She joyfully reside at "The Cottage on Byersville Creek" in Peterborough with her husband Brent, family and beloved Boston Terrier - Sam.
